 Nursery at Hereford Cathedral School provides a caring, happy and inviting atmosphere in which your child can take their first steps in education. We build confidence and self-esteem within a secure and stimulating environment, through both structured activities and purposeful play. Our children enjoy the best possible preparation for school.
We invite you to come and see us at work and at play and discover why our Nursery offers your child the best start towards independent learning.
We offer full or part-time sessions during term time for boys and girls aged 3 - 4 between 8.30am and 3.30pm, with a hot lunch available at 11.45am.
Care is also available from 8.00am - 8.30am and from 3.30pm - 5.30pm.

Explore, Discover and Learn
 Qualified, experienced teachers and staff encourage the Nursery children to explore, discover and learn. Through a variety of fun activities, we develop the whole child, their personal and social skills, early language and mathematical understanding, awareness of the world around them and their physical and creative skills.
We use our local environment to enrich Nursery activities and our children develop an understanding of the wider world, walking down the road for trips to the park or visiting the school library. Our small class sizes mean that our staff can focus on the individuals  and our children also benefit from a busy, exciting and varied programme including specialist music, dance and PE sessions.
Above all, it is important to us that children are happy and want to come in to our Nursery. Our experienced staff enjoy positive relationships with both children and parents as we work together to ensure that we deliver the best possible care and education for your child.
